Ultima Online Artifacts

Among the components of a top-tier equipment setup, it is always useful to include one or more artifacts.
Artifacts, which are nothing more than weapons and armor "enhanced" in one or more specific attributes, can be obtained "with a low probability" either directly through combat with specific monsters (by an artifact dropping into the backpack) or by purchasing these items from other players directly "in-game".

It is worth noting that among the artifacts "droppable" from monsters there are also decorative items that will have no use in "active" gameplay.
Beyond the monster drop system, some important "useful" artifacts can be obtained through Stealing in certain specific areas of the game. Other artifacts can instead be crafted by possessing special Recipe Scrolls using the usual crafting skills.
